Real-Life Mini Scenes

Sometimes you're talking and something just slips out. Right after you say it, you realize it sounded wrong. You stop and say, I didn’t mean to hurt you. It happens to everyone. Things go wrong sometimes, and most of the time it's really not a big deal.

Then there are moments when life surprises you. Something happens and you think, I didn’t expect that. Maybe you really didn’t see it coming. Situations change quickly, and sometimes things turn in ways you never planned.

Other times you're thinking about a decision. Someone asks what you're going to do and you say, I’m not sure yet. It depends on a few things. You just need a little more time to think.

Later, after everything settles down, you might realize something important. You think, I should have told you what I was feeling earlier. At the time it didn’t seem important, but now you see it differently.

Life keeps moving though. Days go by. You slowly understand things you didn’t notice before. Sometimes you look back and think, I didn’t realize how much that moment mattered.

When people ask what you're going to do next, you might just say, I’ll figure it out. And honestly, either way, things usually work out in the end. Experiences change you, and over time you start to feel like I know I’ll grow from what happened.

And once in a while you run into someone you haven’t seen in years. You smile and say, it’s been a while. Then the conversation just starts again like no time passed.
