SET 1 – PAST FRAME ANCHOR (3×10)
You are inside the past.
Use simple, continuous, and past perfect naturally — no drifting.

- She had already decided before the discussion started.
- We were dealing with several issues that week.
- He realized something wasn’t working anymore.
- They had been expecting problems, so the delay didn’t shock them.
- I thought it made sense back then.
- She was handling most of the pressure herself.
- We had discussed this long before it became public.
- He noticed the change while things were moving fast.
- They understood the consequences and accepted them.
- Right now, we deal with this kind of issue regularly.
- She has already explained the situation clearly.
