Balanced contrast.

  4. I see where you’re coming from, but I disagree.
  5. I understand the concern, but I don’t think it’s urgent.
  6. I get the idea, but it might not work.
  7. SET 2 – “Maybe…, but…” (3×6)

    Softer tone. Stable structure.

  8. Maybe you’re right, but we should double-check.
  9. Maybe it would help, but it’s still risky.
  10. Maybe that’s true, but it’s not the full picture.
  11. Maybe we could try that, but it’s expensive.
  12. Maybe he meant well, but it didn’t land well.

  14. SET 3 – Slightly More Natural Flow (3×6)

    Conversational rhythm. Still controlled.

Disagree politely with one idea you heard today.

Respond to an imaginary suggestion with a soft contrast.

Say one disagreement sentence smoothly without hesitation.

Your tone sounds calm and balanced.

Both parts stay in the same tense.

You don’t hesitate before “but.”
