  6. SET 1 – Clean Boundary (3×8)

    Short. Direct. Calm.

  7. I’m not comfortable with that.

  9. That doesn’t work for me.
  10. I’d rather not.
  11. I’m not available for that.
  12. I can’t commit to that.
  13. That’s not something I can do.
  14. I’m going to skip that.
  15. SET 2 – Boundary + Light Reason (3×8)

    Add one short explanation.

  16. I’m not comfortable with that right now.
  17. I’m going to pass on that — I’m focused elsewhere.
  18. That doesn’t work for me this week.
  19. I’d rather not get involved.
  20. I’m not available for that today.
  21. I can’t commit to that at the moment.
  22. That’s not something I can take on right now.
  23. I’m going to skip that — I’ve got too much on my plate.
  24. SET 3 – Boundary Under Pressure (3×8)

    Speak slightly faster. Stay steady and firm.

  25. I’m not comfortable with that, and I’d prefer another option.
  26. I’m going to pass on that since my schedule’s full.
  27. That doesn’t work for me, so we’ll need an alternative.
  28. I’d rather not take responsibility for that.
