Say one surprised question with rising tone.

Say the same sentence twice and change the tone to change meaning.

Optional listening:

Watch 2 minutes of a drama or interview.

Notice how tone alone changes meaning — even when words stay the same.

✅ Finish when

You can change meaning without changing words.

Your tone clearly shows certainty or doubt.

You don’t sound flat anymore.
