SET 1 – Smooth Self-Correction (4×1)
Speak for 90 seconds.
Topic: A recent decision you made.
During your answer:
- Intentionally say something slightly unclear.
- Fix it naturally using phrases like:
- Continue without stopping.
- Add clarification using:
- Expand the same idea.
- Do NOT say “Sorry.”
- Adjust smoothly using:
- Pause briefly.
- Shift slightly.
- Return clearly using:
- Reformulate instead of restarting.
- Stay calm.
- Keep your rhythm steady.
- “What I mean is…”
- “Let me rephrase that…”
- “Actually, that’s not exactly what I meant…”
Example upgrade:
Instead of restarting:
❌ “I decided to change jobs because— sorry, wait, let me start again.”
Use:
✅ “I decided to change jobs because— actually, what I mean is I wanted more flexibility.”
Keep moving forward.
SET 2 – Clarify Under Pressure (4×1)
Speak for 90 seconds.
Topic: A challenge you faced.
Midway through:
- “To be more specific…”
- “More accurately…”
- “The better way to say it is…”
Don’t abandon the sentence. Improve it live.
SET 3 – Correct Without Apologizing (4×1)
Speak for 90 seconds.
Topic: Something you're working on.
If you hesitate or misword something:
- “Let me put it this way…”
- “Another way to look at it is…”
- “What I’m trying to say is…”
Maintain calm tone. Stay confident.
SET 4 – Structured Recovery (4×1)
Speak for 90 seconds.

During your answer:
