How to train (quick guide)

  2. Say all reps out loud.
  3. Do sets in order.
  4. Repeat the whole exercise 2 times.

Don’t stop between the two parts.

Natural everyday situations.

  1. I was tired, so I went home early.
  2. She felt sick, so she stayed home.
  3. We were late, so we took a taxi.
  4. He didn’t call, so I left.
  5. It was raining, so we canceled it.
  6. They were busy, so we waited.
  7. SET 2 – Result → Cause (3×6)

    Same meaning. Different order.

  8. I went home early because I was tired.
  9. She stayed home because she felt sick.
  10. We took a taxi because we were late.
  11. I left because he didn’t call.
  12. We canceled it because it was raining.
  13. We waited because they were busy.
  14. SET 3 – Real Spoken Tone (3×6)

    Slightly more natural phrasing.

  15. I didn’t go because I was exhausted.
  16. We ended up leaving because it got late.
  17. She didn’t answer, so I sent a message.
  18. It didn’t work, so we tried again.
  19. I stayed quiet because I wasn’t sure.
  20. He missed it, so he apologized.

Say 2 things that happened, so you changed your plan.

Say 1 decision you made because of time or money.
